Today is Sunday. On most Sundays, we wake up without an alarm, in plenty of time to get ready for Church. I also don't exercise on most Sundays.
This morning, I set the alarm for 6:30, so I would wake up in time to exercise for about 30 minutes. (I missed my bike ride yesterday). The alarm sounded, and I told MTB that she didn't need to get up yet. I got out of bed, put on my bike shorts, and went outside to ride my bike, using my resistance trainer.
When I finished, I entered the house, and heard the TV. MTB never turns on the TV on Sunday mornings. How unusual. I also noted that our computer was on. And MTB never turns on the computer on Sunday mornings. I then walked into the bedroom and noticed MTB in the bathroom, putting on make-up. Not unusual, except that she was wearing pants. She never wears pants on Sunday morning. She then proceeded to ask me why I didn't set the alarm for 5:50 a.m.(the hour that she wakes up on weekdays).
"Guerita, it's Sunday," say I.
"¿¿¿¡¡¡¡ SUNDAY !!!!??????," says she.
"I'm not going the the clinic today?"
She didn't remember the alarm going off at 6:30. She didn't remember that I told her the alarm was for me. After she awoke, she walked upstairs and glared out the window at me (giving me 'The Look') for not waking her up on time. (I didn't see her do this, but she told me she did give me 'The Look').
Wow, did she ever sleep well last night!!!

More from La Malinche
MTB only posted a few fotos of our trek. Here are a few more.....

First, the most common view of DTB as seen by MTB.

Next, the last 500 meters of the climb. Once I made it this far, the rest was pretty easy.

MTB, at the summit, outshining the sun!!!

Looking down to the trees and rocks below.
It is a great trek. We'll be happy to take be guides for anyone who would like to go!!!!!

A Quien Vas Tu? (Who do you want to win?)
The USA played Mexico today in a World Cup qualifying match. Since I'm the token gringo where I work, as well as a permanent resident of Mexico (I have my green card!!), everyone at the office wanted to know which team I wanted to win. I took a very political approach: When it comes to soccer, my heart is in Brasil.....

She Dreams
A few days ago, MTB told me about a dream she had the night before. She said that although she had not committed any crimes, she was in prison, and trying to escape. She was not scared at all. And she decided to climb the wall and jump over, even if the guards shot her.
Anyone want to postulate what her dream might mean???

A Few Pictures
MTB ususally posts pictures of where we have been. But I'm going to post a few that I took at
Xochicalo and Huatulco.
The city was built on a hill that gave it a commanding view of the Valley.

The most important structure is the Temple of the Feathered Serpent.

And except for a flying finger, this would be a great picture of the stairs leading to the plaza around the Temple of the Feathered Serpent.

And now on to Huatulco. Below are members of the greeting committee.

And here is DTB, acting like a dork. Imagine that!

A view across the bay.

And finally, Fernash auditioning for the SI Swimsuit issue.
